Who is entitled to a funded NHS home eye test?
Anyone who cannot visit their optician unattended is entitled to a NHS funded home eye examination if they fall into one of the categories below:

Aged 60 or over
-
Under 16 / under 19 and in full-time education

Registered blind or partially sighted

Diagnosed as having diabetes or glaucoma

Aged 40 or over with a direct relative with glaucoma

An ophthalmologist has advised that you are at risk of glaucoma

You are prescribed a complex lens
